What a fantastic series that was. These two teams played fantastically and deserved to be in the finals. And kudos to Jones in a losing effort, he played out of his gourd.

The difference was that Pavelski/Thorton/Marleau could not get much going in the series... Burns and Couture were alright but... no Hertl really Hurtl their chances too.
Also hard to win when you get 2 SOG in the last period of the season ;_;

I thought maybe Murray should have won the Conn Smythe, but I haven’t followed Crosby’s work that closely. Murray played beyond his years, but I fear he is one of those players who will get traded and then become a footnote in NHL history.

Honestly, I don’t think he’s very special. He seems better than average... I want to see how he does in a full season or two.
